Bruce Swan, host of Blue Highways Radio

Bruce Swan, host of the weekly Sunday morning program "Blue Highways Radio" heard from 9 - 11 AM ET has announced that Sunday, May 08, 2022 will be his last show. After about 7 years, it is time to put the show on hold indefinitely. Bruce will continue to host the "Late Night Groove" on Sunday nights from 10 - 12 PM ET.

"My thanks to the listeners of the show, to the sponsors South End Grocery and The Strand Theater, fellow programmers, the board of directors and the owners of WRFR. Special thanks to Jo Lindsay for the initial opportunity to bring a singer / songwriter, folk, roots, Americana show to Sunday mornings. And final thanks to Kyle Swan who has encouraged me to become more involved in the station and improve my skills on the air. The programming I do / did for "Blue Highways Radio" and "The Late Night Groove" would also not be possible were it not for a specific volunteer whom you know as DJ Chuckee who dutifully put my work in your ears!
