Uncle Paul’s Jazz Closet

Hosted by Cynthia McGuirl. A show dedicated to the music of Paul Motian. Paul spent his lifetime (1931- 2011) in Jazz as a drummer, composer, sideman and band leader. Each week, the show centers around a theme such as early influences, particular compositions, a time period or his work with specific players. The show also features short readings from his autobiography, journals and interviews. Input and questions from the community are welcome.
