Sam Hunkler, Maine’s independent candidate for governor, will be interviewed on the Rockland Metro Show on WRFR 93.3.
Hunkler has been for many years a family doctor in rural Maine, serving many people who have not been the winners in our slide toward more power and wealth for the few, and decreasing respect for the common man. He has also served, in his youth, among rural people in Kenya and Alaska. He has some ideas, and an offer of leadership, to solve some of our deepening problems, to build Maine community, and to help save American democracy from its spiral into partisan disfunction.
WRFR invites Rockland area residents to tune in to 93.3 fm for the Metro Show, or go online to wrfr.org, or watch the show on Maine Coast TV, cable channel 7 and online at mainecoast.tv.
Listeners and viewers interested in being a part of the discussion can call in to the show at 593-0013.
WRFR also invites you to meet Sam Hunker in person at the WRFR studio for a dinner symposium after the show. This round-table dinner symposium with Sam is hosted by Rockland’s Old School. It is free and open to all, but reservations are required as seating is limited to 12. To reserve, call Joe Steinberger at 596-0731.
