That’s right! WRFR-LP, one of the first low power community radio stations in the US, went on-air in Rockland, Maine on Valentine’s Day 2002. Two years later WRFR could be heard worldwide via live-streaming.

The station is powered by dedicated volunteers in the Mid-Coast community plus a handful of volunteers from other parts of the state and country. We are funded by our sponsors and individual donors like you.
